Injuries Reported At Fire Engine Crash In Central PA (Developing)

Injuries have been reported at the scene of a crash involving a fire engine in central Pennsylvania.

Swatara Township police were called to "an injury accident involving a Susquehanna Township Fire-Rescue Engine and an SUV" at Highland and Harrisburg streets at 9:06 a.m. on Tuesday, June 21, according to a release by the department.

The intersection remains closed as of 1 p.m.

Swatara Township Police with the assistance of the Dauphin County Accident Reconstruction Team continue to investigate this crash.
